| : | Are the blacks out to change Independence week into a racial overtoned event? Do they want to bring slavery back? Why would someone switch the words of "OUR" nations anthem to a 120 year old song from the civil war, to only reflect the views of blacks?! Is this how it's going to be now? Where the hell did this reasoning come from? To keep racism alive? Her response is because she sometimes feels like a foreigner in the USA. What a joke, what a load of bullshit. Just another excuse to keep racism alive and keep us divided.... I will never refer to blacks as African Americans....that is so bullshit to do so....if you ever talk to some one from Africa (a true African) they will tell you they don't believe in that term and that they don't want those blacks coming to their homeland...they also say that they would rather kill those that came to their country. Blacks only oppress and suppress themselves. Who is the racist here today? I would most certainly say the singer is....after reading the news story it's pretty clear on her (black) agenda for (her people)....not the American people. The only people keeping racism alive are the blacks...they just can't get it through their damn head...the war is over...there is no slavery....get the fuck over it..... And yes sweetheart you probably will never get hired to sing again......you blew it. by TONY B. -------------------- Rene Marie, who was introduced by City Council president Michael Hancock to perform the national anthem, says she made the switch without informing the mayor's office. Marie tells The Denver Post she decided to switch the lyrics months ago and will no longer sing the national anthem because she sometimes feels like a foreigner in the USA. complete story here..... http://blogs. usatoday. com/ondeadline/2008/07/controversy-aft. html |
